QUALIFICATIONS

 

Senior Lecturer
Applicants should possess a good first degree and Ph.D. In addition, applicants should have at least six years previous teaching and research experience at the University level and adequate research publications in reputable journals in any of the above areas of specialization. Previous administrative and academic leadership experience in a University or similar institution will be an advantage. Applicants must be ICT proficient.
Salary: CVUASS 5
Lecturer I
Applicants should possess a good first degree and Ph.D with at least three years teaching experience in a University in any of the above areas of specialization. ICT proficiency is mandatory.
Salary: CVUASS 4
 
Lecturer II
Applicants should possess a good first degree and Ph.D in any of the above areas of specialization. ICT proficiency is mandatory.

Senior Librarian
A PhD Degree plus two (2) years working experience or a Master’s Degree in Library Science plus 5 years post qualification experience or Bachelor’s degree in any discipline plus a post graduate qualification in Library Science and 8 years post qualification experience. Proven ICT skills and knowledge of hardware and software computer systems for Libraries, including electronic Library applications are mandatory. The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication and human relations skills and be a self-starter.

Laboratory Scientist I
Applicants must possess a B.SC degree (minimum of Second Class Lower) or HND (Upper Credit) in Medical Laboratory Science or Science Laboratory Technology or B.SC degree (minimum of Second Class Lower) or HND (Upper Credit) in any Science discipline plus a Diploma in Science Laboratory Technology.
Applicants must have at least three (3) years post qualification working experience in either an accredited tertiary institutional laboratory or an industrial laboratory. The applicant must be a member of the Nigerian Institute of Science Technology (NIST), the professional body for academic technologists, or its equivalent. The applicant must be innovative and current in the present technological trend and equipments. ICT proficiency is mandatory.

Laboratory Scientist II
Applicants must possess a B.SC Degree or HND (Lower Credit minimum) and must be a registered member of the professional body or its equivalent as mentioned above. ICT proficiency is mandatory.
Salary: CVUSSS 7
Language Laboratory Technologist
Applicants must be computer literate and posses HND in Electronics with at least one (1) or ND with at least three (3) years post qualification working experience with Language Laboratory equipments.
