Admissions to Full Time Degree Programmes
VERITAS University take off campus is situated in the serene countryside setting of Obehie, 22 km from Aba and 23 Km from Port Harcourt. It is accessible by air from Owerri and Port Harcourt International airports. The University is distinctively Catholic and seeks to provide higher education and balanced training in an atmosphere of peace without discriminating against or excluding any student of our society provided that they are academically qualified and socially fit to study in the University. General Requirements
A minimum of five (5) credits at two sittings, including English in all courses. For Management and Social Sciences, five (5) credits including English and Mathematics. For courses in Economics, candidates must have credit in Economics and for other Social Science Courses, e.g. Political Science; candidates must have a pass in Mathematics.
JAMB Pre-requisite
Candidates applying to VERITAS University are required to have sat for the 2009/2010 UME examinations of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and attained the prescribed cut-off marks. This is a statutory requirement for entry into Nigerian Universities. In addition to the above, VERITAS University conducts a screening exercise for all candidates seeking admission to the University and applicants may not be admitted without fulfilling the demands of the screening exercise, including being in good moral standing.
