RESUMPTION INSTRUCTIONS FOR NEW STUDENTS OF 2009/2010 SESSION

Date of Resumption is Friday, 23rd October, 2009 in our Obehie Campus, Abia State.

  1. Visit the website at http://www.veritas.edu.ng
  2. Click on STUDENTS
  3. Check out the types of accommodation available and the charges for each one.
  4. Check out the Tuition Fee and other charges peculiar to your course.
  5. Select your preferred accommodation.
  6. Visit any GTB Bank nearest to you.
  7. Pay the non refundable acceptance fee of N100, 000.00 (One Hundred Thousand Naira Only) into the University’s Account as follows: Account Name: Veritas University Abuja. Account Number: 323259688110. Bank: Gurantee Trust Bank (any GTB branch) not later than 20th October, 2009 to confirm your acceptance of the offer and another One Hundred Thousand Naira (N100, 000:00) by resumption and commencement of Registration. The acceptance fee is part of the tuition fee for the session. The balance of the school fees is expected to be paid by the beginning of the Second Semester of the 2009/2010 session.

Please note that the balance of the fees and charges for the session could be paid once or as may be convenient to parents and sponsors, provided that all payments are made in full before the commencement of the second semester.

  1. When filling the GT Bank teller for payment you must put your name in CAPITAL letters starting with your SURNAME followed by your FIRST name. E.g. CHUKWUMA, AJAYI. Make sure you keep the copy of your teller.
  2. Date of Resumption is Friday, 23rd October, 2009 in our Obehie Campus, Abia State.
  3. Students are expected to come to the campus with the following:
    • Your GT Bank payment teller
    • Originals and photocopy of SSCE/NECO/GCE O’level results etc
    • JAMB result slip
    • Letter of reference/ attestation from applicant’s Priest or Religious Leader as indicated on the Application form
    • Letter of sponsorship from applicants sponsor
    • 10 Passport photographs
    • Original and Photocopies of Sworn Declaration of Age or birth certificates.

 
 
 
Transportation will be provided from Owerri and Port- Harcourt Airports to the Campus on Friday, 23rd October 2009 for those arriving by Air.

Veritas University observes a Corporate Culture that includes a DRESS CODE which prospective students are expected to comply with, in addition to zero tolerance for cultism, harassment of any kind and examination malpractices.

Furthermore, the female hostel will be administered by the Hospitaller (REVEREND SISTERS). Prospective students and their parents and guardians are, therefore, advised to consider these disciplinary and moral aspects of their ward’s education before making any payments or accepting the offer of admission.
