PROPOSED JUSTICE CHIKE IDIGBE’S FACULTY OF LAW
The above faculty is located at the eastern part of the university perimeter covering an area of 2,352 square meters. The faculty contains 42 office spaces, Moot Court, Law Libraries (e –library and hard copy library), conference room, seminar rooms and a law clinic. The damp proof course has been constructed; the building is currently at the ground floor columns stage (a frame construction). The Justice Idigbe’s family are the major donor for the ongoing Law Faculty Project.
THE SENATE BUILDING (PHASE ONE)
The Senate Building is also located at the Eastern part of the university perimeter covering an area of 960 square meters. The building design has three phases, phase one is currently on-going at the finishing stage.
PROPOSED FACULTY OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
The proposed Faculty of Medicine will be located at the Phase 2 of the university’s Master Plan, covering an area of 3,000 square meters. The proposed building working drawings are ready and work on the site will begin in earnest.
There are two hostel building constructions (male and female hostels) currently going on simultaneously in Veritas University, Abuja. The two hostels are been undertaken by two different companies under build, operate and transfer (BOT). The companies are PA-ETOS LIMITED and APOJE GROUP.
The Veritas University’s Sport Arena is another huge project currently going on in the university and it is been undertaking by the University’s Management.
THE VERITAS UNIVERSITY CLINIC PROJECT
The Veritas University's Clinic Project was initially conceived to be a bungalow but later redesigned to a one-story building and it is currently under construction at the Veritas University, Abuja Campus.
There is a road construction project currently going on in the university from the old auditorium, through the Female Hostel to the New Male Hostel. The road construction is almost at the surface cause and the road project is been undertaking by the university’s management.
The Veritas University’s E-Library building is sited alongside the old auditorium and currently at the lintel level.
As a backup source of power supply to serve the Computer Laboratories of the Veritas University and the Senate Chamber, the University under the leadership of Rev. Fr. Professor Hyacinth Eme Ichoku installed and commissioned a 20KVA Solar Farm to provide backup electricity supply to the software and hardware labs as well as the Senate Chamber. The installation of the 20KVA solar farm was completed and tested on the 6th of April 2020. On full charge and with all the equipment, including over 100 computer systems in both computer labs, turned on with lights and fans, the installation can provide uninterrupted power supply for 24/7 hours continuously without any power boost from the National Electricity grid or Generator.
