In his beautiful homily, the Archbishop acknowledged God’s benevolence and kindness upon Veritas University, Abuja, which was the reason we gathered: to thank and appreciate God for his love upon Veritas University, Abuja.
Archbishop Kaigama noted that Veritas University, Abuja was like mustard seed planted few years ago, which has grown into a big shrub and will continue to grow from strength to strength, despite the challenges confronting the university. He mentioned that he was one of those who believed in the vision and mission of the University from the outset, which was established to offer quality and authentic education.
He commended the efforts of the University’s Management, under the leadership of Rev. Fr. (Prof) Hyacinth E. Ichoku, for not allowing the University to shot down completely during the covid-19 pandemic lockdown and for adopting digital means to keep the University moving, pending when the lockdown was over.Kaigama also noted that Veritas University, Abuja was a faith-based institution, which was established to form and grow students, who will be ambassadors of the University and Nigeria in general.
