Professor Linus Osuagwu, a UNILAG PhD Valedictorian, holds a B.Sc. Tech in Maritime Management Technology (Second Class Upper Division) from the Federal University of Technology Owerri, Nigeria, and both M.Sc. and PhD degrees in Business Administration/Marketing (with distinction) from the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Nigeria.

Professor Osuagwu has served as a Graduate/Research Assistant, Senior Lecturer, pioneer Professor, Chair, Dean, and Vice Chancellor across institutions including University of Lagos, Lagos State University, Covenant University, American University of Nigeria (AUN), and Eastern Palm University. He also served as a Full Professor at the American University of Afghanistan.
His university service roles have included Faculty Senate, Curriculum Committee, Student Disciplinary Committee, Faculty Search Committees, and more, focusing on improving academic and administrative outcomes.
